Actividades programadas

PRESENTATION OF PROJECTS AND PRODUCTS

  • In addition to the activities included in this International Congress, a Technological - Commercial Exhibition will take place. There, the companies and official organisms will have the opportunity to show the last advances in the field of the Surveying, the Cartography and Sciences, as well as numerous practical applications of the same ones.

HISTORICAL EXHIBITION OF THE CARTOGRAPHIC ENGINEERING.

  • In order to offer a vision to the whole society on Technologies, Instrumentation and Cartographic Products from the last years, two exhibitions will be organised, coinciding with the dates of the International Congress with the MuVIM (Museum Valencià de la Il-lustració i y de Modernitat- Diputacion Valenciana).

  • The information collections and technical presentations will be provided fundamentally by:

    • The Gimenez Lorente Foundation.

    • National Geographical Institute

    • Valencian Cartographic Institute

    • Cartographic Institute of Cataluña

    • Higher Technical School of Geodetic, Cartographic and Surveying Engineering of Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.

    • Higher Technical School of Surveying, Geodetic, Cartographic and Engineering of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid

    • As well as of different Institutions and Organisms of the whole country.


 

Infrastructure and Means

Place for the meetings.

  • Opening/Closing act: lounge of the Auditorium of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.

  • The whole rest of activities: such as conferences, round tables, experts' technical / commercial panel, exhibition, etc., will take place in the City of the Innovation and in the Higher Technical School of Geodetic, Cartographic and Surveying Engineering (Technical University of Valencia)

EEGECS

Topic.

  • Special Session: EEGECS (European Education in Geodetic Engineering, Cartography and Surveying)

Descriptor: The present and future of the education in Geodesy and Geomatics will be addressed in this session through an European dimension. It will be open to contributions related to undergraduate and graduate education, structure of degrees and curricula , research and continuous education, quality assessment and intercultural activities. Organised by EEGECS European Thematic Network (http://eurogeo.top.upv.es/eegecs/), teachers, students and proffessional specialists in the field od Geomatics are invited to participate.
